Mind vs Heart (Part 2)

Would like to touch on this topic again.

Ever heard of this old song, 'You will always on my mind' by Willie Nelson? I like this song very much and i believe the boy band, F4 did a remix of this song not too long ago.
Would it be apt to sing, "You will always on my heart"? or better still "heart and mind"?
Which is more important when you say this to your loved one, heart or mind?
Often, one would say, you are heartless and not mindless, while a person is out of the mind and not heart.
People would say, the heart is more important but what if you don't have a sound mind

Food for thought ...............
I am always thinking of you in my mind and have you in my heart.

Heart vs Mind

I have this thought. What is more important? Heart or Mind?
Are they interlink? Do they go hand in hand or the opposite? Some wise person 'told' me that the heart is more vital than the mind. I have a sound mind not to rebutt after consideration though i have wanted to. I am surprise that i have 'trained' myself not to be impulsive which in the past i will surely flare up like firework.

I have made up my mind to do certain things but do i have the heart to proceed?
Many people always ask this question, is your mind sound or clear but do they ask if your heart is sound or clear? Why they often think of the mind first instead of the heart?
Perhaps, our hearts is just a machine that keeps us (human) going and working. When our heart cease to function, we are death but is our mind still operating?
Is this science ...........?

I have just commented on another blog, if i set my mind on doing something, i will have all the heart and soul to do it. Can i say that i have the heart to achieve but are mindless?
Wow, so many questions how to answer? Better don't crack my mind or i shall have headache and maybe heartache.......?

World's Tallest Man

How tall is the world's tallest man? Where is he from?

Well, he is herdsman Bao Xishun, 2.36 metres tall from Inner Mongolia in Northern China.
Congratulations to this 56 years old as he has found a bride after conducting a worldwide search for a bride but eventually found her in his own home region. His wife is only 1.68m and just 28 years old who comes up to Bao's elbow.
LOVE conquers all hurdles. Cheers

Winnie The Pooh

I have grown to love this character in Disney which i have never taken noticed till a couple of years ago. It helps to remind me of a dear friend.

Winnie the Pooh, the lovable bear who's stuffed with fluff, is also called Pooh, or Pooh Bear, but never, ever, just Winnie the Pooh. Pooh himself would tell you he is a "bear of little brain", but he also has an uncommon, clear eyed wisdom. His friends, their happiness and feelings are Pooh's chief concern, and there is no better friend than Winnie the Pooh. Pooh endlessly craves honey or a smackeral of whatever little something is at hand to soothe that insatiable "rumbly in his tumbly".

Debut : 1966 - Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree
Role : Cuddly absentminded stuffed bear
Hobbies : Eating honey, always hungry
Favourite Phrase : "Do you have any honey?"
Note of interest : Disney Pooh was based off the Agnes Brush plush sold in the 40s of 50s
(Source from Disney.com)

Whenever i see Pooh, i will always catch a glimpse of it. That's why i name my blog after Pooh.
What cartoon character do you like or grown up with?

Season

We don't have the luxury of enjoying the 4 different seasons in each year.
It's Spring now in most parts of the world.

Spring blossoms season announce their arrival when flowers begin to appear in everywhere else besides most parks in Japan. This is the time when Japanese celebrates the cherry blossoms (Sukura) budding all over Japan. For a few days, outdoor parties become a common sight so one can soak in the surreal sea of pink and white blossoms. The weather matches the mood as Japan thaws to friendly warmth, signalling an end to the harsh and cold winter.
School also start around the cornor, so hanami (viewing of the Sukaru) is welcomed as a celebration of the new beginnings. The weather is cooling and other flowers can also be seen to grow at its fullest.

Remembering i used to learn to play the tune of the song, Sukara on the guitar, slow and a very typical, traditional Japanese song.
Hopefully, one day, i can experience what Spring really brings into the heart.
What season do you like?

B B

What is B B? Baby? Oh, half correct...........It's BIG BABY
Have come acrossed this story in the news regarding a 1 year old baby in Brazil weighing a hafty 25 KG. He was already 10 KG when he was 3 mths old.
If that (growing) continues, the baby is going to have some serious health problems.
Can you imagine how heavy is this baby?

Last N S

Finally, i have completed my last NS liability at the beginning of this month though by default.
It was a short 5 days stint but it was considered a High Key call-up caused the unit has done well in its exercise Wallaby held in Australia last year so CO promised that it would be a short call up this time.
Fortunately, it was from Mon till Fri so there wasn't much disruption to my work. Overall, the training was quite switch off, mainly weapon revision and a live firing (day and night) on Thurs. We booked out on Friday afternoon.

Nowadays, the guys are quite lucky in the army. At the end of the training, we only need to clean up our own bunk and personal areas as the other areas such as staircase, corridors, toilets ...........are being taken care off by contractors. The flushing system in the toilets are powerful though i would wish there would be hot water at night (hee hee)
The food has improved tremendously from those prepared by our cooks many years ago. CO can even choose the daily menu for the men. We have ice cream, soya bean curb, red bean soup ..... for dessert too. There are also two different serving to choose for during breakfast. Oh, we don't have to wash the plates and bowl also.

Since my previous unit has already MR, i have to join another unit for the very first time. As those guys are very much younger so there weren't much company except another good old pal but he was attached to another company. There was a lot of free time so i spent most of my time reading the bible in the comfort of my bed. Finished quite a lot of chapters during those 5 days. Seemed i am the only one who is 'holy' there.

There was a small incident during the 5 days in camp. I have 'lost' the firing pin of the weapon after a blank exercise before the live firing and this has affected my mood that day. Why so unlucky?? Have searched frantically for the whole vehicle as i have stripped the weapon there to clean before the live firing commenced but it was nowhere to be found till the last day when the armour came to inspect and the pin was found to be stucked inside the weapon which i have no idea how it has landed there. Thank GOD

Guess, i wouldn't have to wear the army uniform, carry the full pack. worry of any MOB, IPPT ..........unless ...........(touchwood)
Like the saying goes, 'when one lose it, he will cherish it.' Anyone out there cherishes those army days??

International Women's Day

This is the first time that i am posting in the blog. Maybe caused of an influence by a dear friend, maybe it's fun, perhaps nothing better to do ..................... Will i have the determination and perserverance to continue penning remains to be seen.

I may not be a woman but i look forward to celebrate International Women's Day with all the women in the world. I believe this day was form since the early 1920's.
Compare to last year, this time i have had a very quiet and peaceful day 2 weeks ago. Seemed that nobody remembers, not even my closet people (or whom i consider it to be)
Had a simple lunch treat from a old army pal @ Hong Lim Mkt and later met another old army pal @ AMK for coffee, followed by a walk to the new AMK Hub and then back home for dinner. Eventful??? Least, i got a chance to catch up with a couple of good old pals of the yesteryears

A week later, i received my first (only) gift and dinner treat from one of my disciple. Another one sent me a sms greetings but sadly one of them (i consider most important) has forgotten while it was ok if the other one doesn't remember. It may be a very small gift but it made my day that night.
Frankly, it was one of those disheartening celebration i have had in many years. It also remains to be seen how many more years i have got to celebrate this day with all the women in this world. How do you women out there celebrate this day?
How's my next International Women's Day celebration be like? Too far to think ...................
